The Annual Early Literacy Institute responds to the need for research-based information on how to successfully construct a strong early literacy program. The Institute combines current research, practice and skills development, with demonstrations of concrete evidence-based methods and resources to enable practitioners to approach the coming school year with new knowledge and strategies.
Topics will include:
New York State ELA Common Core Standards, Reading + Writing, PreK-Gr 3
Structuring Classrooms to Support Literacy
Emergent Writing
Using Nursery Rhymes to Support Language and Literacy Development

Registration Fee: $225 (two days)
Register 2 teachers from a school + registration fee is waived for a 3rd!
Certificates of Attendance will be issued to all attendees confirming participation in 6 hours of professional development per day, applicable, with your District’s approval, towards NYSED mandated hours.
