In this 15 hour professional development opportunity, participants will explore the 12 instructional shifts of the Common Core Standards and find resources to adjust their instruction towards the shifts. Resources and best instructional practices appropriate for participants' individual grade level and subjects will be researched using Thinkfinity and Engage NY, free online educational sites. Participants will leave with lessons and resources specifically designed to shift their instruction towards the Common Core Standards.
